The Square has now been a fixture of the high-end London dining scene for eighteen years, under the continual guidance of Phil Howard. Phil is that rarity, a chef with a degree, and his cooking shows considerable thought in the design of the dishes. The Square is, in my view, cooking better now than at any point in its past.
