Peacock

The Peacock was at the time I visited generally reckoned to be the best Chinese restaurant in Dubai. It managed some fair dim sum, though the dumplings were just a little chewy, while the Szechuan prawns were well cooked as a main course. However the bak choi were horribly overcooked, and overall this place is pleasant at best. Service was excellent and prices just about tolerable, and they did have excellent jasmine tea. Worth a look if you are craving Chinese food, but don’t make a detour for this place.
