This establishment (previously called the Sree Krishna) is an old faithful, having served capable Keralan food for over twenty years. The room is fairly small, but with photos of palm-fringed beach scenes blown up and pasted on the walls in the form of murals that make the room look bigger.
It is best to stick to the South Indian specialities here: for example the utthapam (a sort of Indian pizza) is excellent, as is the Mysore bhonda (lentil balls) and dosas. There was also a wide selection of curry house fare, of which methi chicken is capable but the fish dishes have proved disappointing. Vegetable dishes veer between very good and poor, though the paratha bread is excellent.
