Red Koyla is a pleasant neighbourhood Indian restaurant in Teddington. There was one particularly good dish (a black dhal) but also others that were decent but could be improved in various ways. Still, this is a perfectly nice local restaurant.

On a short visit to Lisbon I ate at Cura, a Michelin-starred modern restaurant in the Ritz hotel. The food was skilfully executed and used good quality local ingredients, as well as having particularly good service and a friendly kitchen team (pictured). There were some clever dishes and the whole experience was very enjoyable.

Next week I will review some restaurants in Spain.
