This week I revisit the Quality Chop House, the Pantechnicon dining Rooms, Zuma and the Brilliant

I visit New Orleans, Las Vegas and New York, completing my tour of all 2008 3 star Michelin restaurants. Back in the UK, I try Croque Gascon and revisit Pied a Terre, the Cinnamon Club and Tatsuso.

This week I try Aaya and contrast East London Tayyab with Southall stalwart the Brilliant.

Tokyo was a mixed bag in terms of food experiences. Back in the UK, I ate this week at The Capital Hotel, Blah Blah Blah, the Royal China and Madhus.

The Carpenter's Arms serves up tolerable food but hilarious service. Roka is still on form, as is local pizzeria Tarantella. Also, the Michelin waifs and strays.

I try Tom Ilic and Yumi, return to the Fish Shop on St John Street and the Brilliant, and try eating in Harlow

I venture to Alan Yau’s new venture, Sake No Hana, and mix with the celebs. I return to Madhus in Southall, and to Tarantella in Chiswick.

I revisit Madhu's and have a malai chicken tikka that dreams are made of. My monthly visit to Zafferano is as good as ever, but Matsuri disappoints. My TV appearance firms up.

I revisit Umu, the controversial Japanese restaurant. Another excellent meal at Zafferano, but a poor burger experience at Ground. Tangawizi in Richmond continues to impress me. Also, a new site feature, some food quizzes.
