From Hampton Hill to Notting Hill

Brasserie 1600 is in Hampton Hill, and offers an appealing selection of conventional brasserie dishes. The savoury dishes were fine, but desserts were a disappointment. However, prices are modest, corkage is cheap, and it is a nice enough neighbourhood restaurant.

Holy Carrot could not be accused of modest pricing, despite serving entirely vegetarian food. To be honest I didn’t like many of the dishes, and yet the bill was at the level of somewhere that could actually cook well. I won’t be heading back. There are so many better vegetearian options in London than this.
