From St James to Mayfair

Imperial Treasure is a high-end Chinese restaurant in St James. This time I went for lunch with some American friends, and we tried quite a few of the dim sum collection. Venison puff was a particular highlight, but the general standard was high here.
Row On 5 (pictured) earned a second Michelin star in 2026, and is the showcase for gifted chef Spencer Metzger. This meal was even more assured than my previous one here, and featured superb technical cooking of high-quality ingredients. The service here is terrific, and the wine list expertly looked after by sommelier Roxy. Row on 5 is the real deal.
